Micronutrients are nutrients needed for life in very little quantities. The Microminerals or trace elements include iron, molybdenum, chromium, selenium, copper, iodine, manganese, zinc and cobalt. Many deaths per year are caused from micronutrient deficiencies. Micronutrients are extremely important for a teenage football player, for they are used very quickly when you are in vigorous training and healing.
